Boulevardier (Whisky Negroni) 200ml 28% ABV

£19.00

A Negroni with a difference! Replacing the gin with whisky, gives this cocktail a very different feel and flavour profile. Rich and Warming, as opposed to Crisp and Bracing, making this a perfect winter cocktail.

First appearing in 'Barflies & Cocktails' in 1927 and attributed to Erskinne Gwynne, a regular at Harry's Bar in New York, gave the drink the name after his magazine, The Boulevardier.

Traditional Boulevardier cocktails require bourbon, however, I prefer the deeper flavour of our Fat Adam's Old Chapter Whisky. It's aged for 9-years in Jack Daniel's barrels giving a really sweet and smooth whisky that is half whisky and half bourbon to my palate. Paired with Campari and a red Vermouth, plus my orange bitters mix, gives a very tasty cocktail.

Apparently, a 'boulevardier' is a Parisian 'man-about-town', with this you can be about two any time you like!

As always, our cocktails are bar strength and not watered down in any way.

Available in 500ml and 200ml bottles
